Is this only for children taking the 11+?
Not at all. While the 11+ is a key focus, Word Boost is great for any child in Years 4–6 who wants to strengthen their vocabulary, comprehension and writing.
Does my child need to complete it live?
No. Your session lands in your inbox every Monday and can be completed any time that suits your family. Missed a week? No problem – previous sessions are always there to come back to.
How are words chosen?
Words are pitched at 11+ standard and aligned with KS2 vocabulary expectations, chosen to be genuinely challenging without being obscure. Vocabulary is organised around themes – such as describing colours, personality traits, or words with a common suffix – which helps children make connections and retain new words far more effectively.
How much does it cost?

Can my child join at any time?
Yes — children can join at any point in the year and get immediate access to start straight away.
Can I cancel at any time?
