Everything you need to know about 11+ tutoring and how Path to Pass works

We understand the importance of finding the right tutor. Below are some of the most frequently asked questions parents have before starting 11+ tuition with us.

What age should my child start 11+ tutoring?

Most families begin in Year 4 or Year 5. Some confident learners start earlier, while others join in Year 6 for focused revision. We’re happy to chat and help you decide the best timing for your child.

All lessons are delivered online via Zoom, with printable worksheets and live teaching. This allows us to work with families across the UK and internationally — with no travel or stress.

Our main courses are run in small groups of up to 5 students, so each child gets plenty of attention while also benefiting from group discussion and shared examples. Limited 1:1 slots are available for specific support.

Our group classes focus on:

  • ✏️ Creative Writing

  • 📖 Reading Comprehension

  • ✍️ SPaG (Spelling, Punctuation, and Grammar)

  • 🧠 Verbal Reasoning (VR)

Each session includes live teaching, an in-class worksheet, homework, and feedback.
